The Nobel Banquet is Sweden's, and possibly the world’s, most well-known dinner party. Every year this week, the Nobel Laureates are shuffled all around Stockholm in the darkness of December. They give talks, they meet with the press, and they get their prizes. Finally, they attend the sumptuous Nobel Banquet that is filmed and goes out live on SVT television this evening.

Find out how many chefs and waiters work the party. Hear about a few of the ingredients that go into the super secret meal. When will King Carl XVI Gustaf take his first step and where will the guests drink after the dinner? Gabriel Stein was at Stockholm City Hall Thursday to get a-behind-the-scenes look at the dinner party preparations.
