While AIK’s game against Hammarby erupted in violence on the home terraces, there was only disappointment for Malmö’s supporters who watched their team blow the chance to go 3 points clear at the top of the table.

Malmö’s 1-0 defeat at home to Landskrona leaves them sharing the lead with Halmstad and Gothenberg on 46 points with just 2 games left to play. Gothenberg have to play Malmö and Halmstad in their remaining games.

And in tennis, Sweden’s Roger Söderling takes on David Nalbandian at the Madrid Masters.
