Swedish companies fail to attract senior staff

Published torsdag 5 april 2012 kl 08.48

Sweden is at the bottom of the list when it comes to how countries recruit and retain older employees, according to a survey by staffing company Manpower.

Looking at over 30 000 employers in 28 different countries, the survey found that only 8 percent of Swedish companies have strategies for how to retain senior staff.

Japan, where 83 percent of companies have strategies for how to attract and keep senior staff, tops the list followed by Singapore, news agency TT reports.
