"See first-Kill first" Saab defence ad

Swedish defence and security company Saab AB is using an aggressive marketing policy to sell its products including slogans such as "See first - Kill first" for the JAS Gripen fighter jet.

Tabloid Expressen reports today that at the recent arms and defence technology fair in Qatar, the Swedish based company marketed its Gripen fighter jet as guaranteeing a "high death ratio."

Saab's anti-tank guided weapon, Bill 2, was also hailed for its ability to find "soft targets" such as civilan housing, cars and gatherings of people.

Marie Karlsson, spokeswoman for Saab AB told Expressen;

 "I do not actually know what we were thinking of when we used those words."
