Brynäs won the second hockey league final on Thursday, defeating Skellefteå 3-2 after extra time. Brynäs have now won the first two games in a series of seven.

Skellefteå, playing as the away team in the Läkerol Arena, held a 2-2 draw until the end of ordinary time courtesy of Pierre-Èdouard Bellemare's leveling goal in the third period.

But after only two minutes and three seconds of extra time, Brynäs' Martin Johansson won the game for the home team.

Games three and four in the series will be played on Saturday and Sunday in Skellefteå.
