A plan strike to affect airport bus services has now been called off.

Airport bus drivers had planned to go out on strike in sympathy with union colleagues at the trade union Kommunal who were seeking better working conditions for health care staff assisting people with disabilities.

The strike would have affected routes to and from Arlanda, Bromma, Gothenburg City Airport, Landvetter, Malmö and Västerås.

The union has reached an agreement with the employers group, Almega which will see a wage increase of 3.3 percent.

Personal assistants to disabled people have also won the right to fixed basic salaries, fixed working hours and notice periods before they are laid off.
