The building workers, who went on strike on Wednesday after their demands for less annual working hours were not met, have caused a stir among their employers.

The 1,200 workers from the plumbing and sheet metal industry have affected business for over 14 companies this week. Several building projects have been put on hold as a result, and employers are now threatening to sue the building trade union Byggnads.

The trade union has refused to communicate with the employers in question since the strike broke out.

The employers are demanding that the trade union calls off the strike.
