Wallberg wins WBC belt again
Frida Wallberg defended her world boxing championship title beating Puerto Rican rival, Amanda Serano, on Friday.
It was the third time Wallberg took the WBC Super Featherweight Champion of the World belt, this time after ten rounds on home turf in Linkoping.
“I had a very clear strategy and knew exactly what I should do, “ the 29-year-old boxer told news agency TT. “When you meet a boxer of that caliber you have to be smart and use technique – not letting her in and working from a distance.”
The Swede was behind in the first few rounds but took the lead as the match progressed.
