Ibrahimovich's run of titles ended by Juve

Zlatan's eight-year winning streak comes to an end

Sweden's star soccer player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Zlatan Ibrahimovich's near decade long streak of winning eight successive domestic league titles is at an end. The Swedish striker scored two goals but it was not enough to stop his side lose the Milan derby to Inter 4-2 at the San Siro. The defeat leaves Juventus with an unassailable 4 point lead at the top of Serie A with one game remaining, providing a first Scudetto since 2003.

Zlatan's title run began in Holland at Ajax where he moved from Malmö and was part of Ajax's 2003-04 Eredivisie winning side ahead of a summer move to Juventus.

Ibra won successive Scudetto's in his two years with the Italian club although both titles were later revoked due to match fixing scandals. The Swede then switched allegiance to Inter where he won three successive titles, scoring plenty of goals, which helped bag a move and hopes of a Champions League win with Spanish giants Barcelona.

Although he won La Liga in 2009-10, he never real got on with coach Pep Guardiola and was loaned out back to Italy and AC Milan where he added an eighth successive league triumph, their first in seven years. But the Rosseneri and Ibra were unable to successfully defend their title this season.
