Following the victory of Francois Hollande in the French presidential election, Sweden’s center-right Finance Minister Anders Borg commented that he is confident the Socialist leader will not break budgets, adding that France has a pragmatic government that will uphold a pro-European policy.

In his blog. Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt says the economic challenges for France will be important, and room for mistakes slight.

Bildt is more concerned about the uncertain election results in Greece, which he calls an implosion, as the two major parties suffered setbacks. Bildt says it remains to be seen how Greece can get out of its current situation.
