Arrest for human trafficking

Published fredag 20 juli 2012 kl 13.42

Swedish Radio News reports that in connection with the berry-picker controversy a 43 year old Bulgarian man has been arrested for human trafficking. This follows a police complaint from three other Bulgarians alleging they were lured to Sweden with false promises of salaries and places to live.

The man was taken into custody Thursday evening and was placed under arrest after questioning by a prosecutor.
