Johanna Larsson out of the Swedish Open
Sweden’s Johanna Larsson reached the semi-finals of the Swedish Open tennis tournament, but a spot in Sunday's finals has eluded her. She was defeated Saturday by (Swedish-born) Mathilde Johansson of France 6-4, 6-4.
The other Swedish woman in the tournament, Larsson’s doubles partner Sofia Arvidsson, was knocked out in the quarter-finals, losing to Mona Barthel of Germany 6-3, 6-3.

Sweden’s last hopes for a Swedish Open finals spot ended Saturday evening when Johanna Larsson and Sofia Arvidsson lost their doubles semi-final to Eva Hrdinová of the Czech Republic and Bosnia's Mervana Jugić-Salkić, 7-5, 1-6, 7-10.
