Sweden's legendary swimmer Lars Frölander says that London 2012 was his final championships, after failing to qualify to the semis in the 100m butterfly heats. And he is just one more of Sweden's sports stars who have found it difficult to shine in London.

One week into the London Olympics, and the amount of times we've heard this the Swedish national anthem, is a massive zero times. So far, on this Thursday afternoon, Sweden has scored a grand total of one medal. A silver won in the equestrian eventing. Big medal hopes have failed to deliver. What's gone wrong? We spoke to Stefan Elofsson, head of news at Swedish Radio's Sports department to find out more.
