Swedish youth organisation donates money to rebuild Utöya
The Swedish Social Democrat youth organisation SSU started a collection of money after the terror attacks in Utöya in Norway last summer, which has amounted to nearly US$30,000. The money was given to the Norwegian Social Democrat youth organisation AUF on Friday, reports news agency TT.
The money was collected by seeking donations from large organisations and from coin collections on streets and other public places.
The donation will go towards the re-construction of the AUF's summer camp on the island of Utöya just outside Oslo. In July of 2011, terrorist Anders Behring Breivik killed 69 young people on the island.
