Belarusian embassy winds down services
The Belarusian embassy in Stockholm will stop taking applications for visas from next Monday, because of the impending closure of the mission. This comes in a press release from the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, quoted by the Russian news agency Interfax.
On Friday the Stockholm embassy stopped accepting applications for Belarusian citizenship, residence permits, and other documents involving passports or lengthy processing periods. Starting September 1, the Belarusian embassy in Latvia will take over responsibility for Belarusians in Sweden.
