“As a Swedish journalist in the US, there’s no chance I can get an interview with the President,” says Ginna Lindberg, who has been Swedish Radio’s Washington, D.C. correspondent since 2007. “I asked him a question once and he answered it, but that’s about it.”

Lindberg has worked at Swedish Radio since 1990. She is home in Sweden this week with a number of other Swedish Radio foreign correspondents. She joined Radio Sweden in the studio Wednesday to talk about covering news in the US – the challenges and opportunities.

Our journalism is based on credibility and impartiality. Swedish Radio is independent and not affiliated to any political, religious, financial, public or private interests.
