Published torsdag 16 augusti 2012 kl 18.07

After a piece of white plastic was found in a solution, the Medical Products Agency advises people who have bought Spektramox oral solution 50 mg + 12,5 ml to have the product exchanged at a pharmacy.

The drug is mainly used for children's illnesses.

Of the 70,000 units of the medicine that have been produced, 6,000 have been sold in Sweden. The Medical Products Agency is withdrawing all of the products that have been distributed and sold to pharmacies and patients.
