Duelling tweets from Swedish politicians

The offending Twitter exchange

A Twitter feud has broken out between two leading Swedish politicians from opposite ends of the political spectrum.

The fight started when former Left Party leader Lars Ohly tweeted that a member of Christian Democrat leader Göran Hägglund’s staff was a “dork”.

Hägglund tweeted back that Ohly shouldn’t rubbish Hägglund’s colleagues and that he doesn’t employ and dorks.

Readers of the exchange have commented that the two are acting like preschoolers and that the Swedish parliament ought to be renamed “The Parliamentary nursery school”.
