Children played with syringes at pre-school

Published måndag 20 augusti 2012 kl 20.00

Three five-year-olds have been taken to hospital for tests in Gothenburg after playing with syringes they found in a bin on a pre-school playground.

Some of the used needles had traces of blood on them, and a bag containing a liquid resembling blood was also found.

Local newspaper Göteborgs Posten reports that one of the children tasted the liquid. One of the parents has now reported the incident to the police, and questions are now being raised as to why there were bins in the playground and why they had not been emptied after the weekend.
