Three injured in archipelago knife attack
Police have arrested a man for the knife attack which lead to at least three people being taken to hospital on Wednesday. Several ambulances and a helicopter arrived to take care of the victims on the small island Saltarö in the Stockholm archipelago.
One woman was stabbed in the abdomen and is currently in critical condition in hospital, reports the news agency TT.
The suspect is in his 40s and lives on Saltarö island.
"We still don't know if he knew the victims," says police officer Kjell Larsson.
Initial reports said the man had acted in a threatening manner towards other people on the island before the attack, according to TT.
