School kids dropped off 2 km from bus stop
Three children in Bankeryd, outside Jönköping, got a long road home after their first day back at school, reports news agency TT. The children, aged 6-8 years, were dropped off by the school bus driver two kilometers from the bus stop where they should have been left - and had been driven in the wrong direction.
The children, who began to walk back in the direction towards their school, were found sad and thirsty along the way by a parent who was looking for them.
The bus company has apologised for the mistake.
