Three year sentence for killing cyclist
A 20 year old has been found guilty of manslaughter for driving over a 60 year old bicyclist in Malmö. He’s been sentenced to three years in prison and has to pay damages to the family of his victim.
In the middle of June, while fleeing the police in a 100 kilometer per hour chase, the 20 year old tried to drive over a police officer, but instead hit a pedestrian and two cyclists, one of whom died.
He had also been indicted for the attempted murder of the police officer, but the district court ruled not guilty, saying the officer had never been in danger.
