Swedish art dealers await Eggleston verdict
Earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal reported that a private art collector was suing the photographer William Eggleston. Having purchased several prints from the legendary US photographer, the collector believed they were part of a limited edition of prints. Until Eggleston decided to print several more copies - but with a different technique. That case is still ongoing in the States, but due to the global nature of the art market, Swedish gallery owners are keeping an eye on proceedings in case it affects the market here.
