Thailand next for "Svennis"
Sven-Göran Eriksson has found a new job in Thailand. The much travelled Swedish coach has been appointed technical director of two-time Thai champions BEC Tero Sasana. The 64-year-old will oversee strategic planning and offer support to the coaching staff at the club.
In recent years, "Svennis" as he is called in Sweden, has coached mainly in England. Eriksson's 35-year coaching career was launched in Sweden where he led IFK Gothenburg to success in the UEFA Cup. He has won trophies in Portugal and Italy and has led the national teams of England, Mexico and the Ivory Coast.
