The Friday interview - Glenn Hysén
As a footballer, he was one of Sweden's all-time greats, winning trophies at IFK Gothenburg and Liverpool as well as playing in Italy's Serie A with Fiorentina. Long-since retired, Glenn Hysén is more known these days for having a gay son in football and for his encourgement of gays in sport.
It's a far cry from the days when he was regarded with suspicion by Sweden's gay community following an incident of assault at a German airport. The 52-year-old tells all in his new autobiography "Ha de gott" which is out now. He spoke to Radio Sweden's Dave Russell, who began by asking him about his time at Liverpool whom he joined just two months after the Hillsborough disaster.
