Sweden's second largest city, Gothenburg, has disappeared.

At least on Apple's new map app, launched as part of the new iOS 6 operating system on Apple phones and tablets, and replacing Google's rival service Google Maps.

Criticism of the mapping application has been widespread globally, and here in Sweden one of the most obvious problems is that Gothenburg, with its population of almost a million, is clearly missing from the map.

Apple say they are aware of the problems and are working on a solution, Swedish TV news reports.
