Last day in court for Malmö serial killer

Serial killer Peter Mangs will remain in custody until the 19th of October, when his sentence will be decided. He has already been found guilty of two murders and four attempted murders in Malmö.

An investigation concluded that he was not suffering from any serious mental health problems at the time that the crimes were committed.

On the last day in court, prosecutor Solveig Wollstad asked for a life sentence for Mangs, since the "ruthless and cold-blooded" murderers were planned in advance.

Defence lawyer Jesper Montan continued to say that his team does not think that Mangs committed the crimes, and that even if they accept that his client did commit the two murders, that neither of them merits the most severe sentence possible.
