IKEA put final touches to India plans
Swedish DIY furniture giant IKEA is making the final preparations for opening stores in India.
The company announced Monday it had filed the final paperwork with the Indian government to be able to start retailing in the country, news agency AFP reports.
IKEA has already been manufacturing its furniture in India for 25 years, and can start store operations in the country following a decision by the the Indian government to allow fully foreign-owned companies to open shops there.
