White House turns pink for October
The large white university house in central Lund is to turn pink on Monday in a show of support for breast cancer research.
The idea comes from the White House in Washington which was lit up in pink for one night in October.
The university house on Lund campus though will stay pink for the rest of the month which is international breast cancer awareness month. It's hoped the move will raise money for breast cancer research.
"The purpose is to honour all those who lost the fight against breast cancer, and the researchers who are struggling to find new ways to beat the disease," the university said in a statement.
