We talk to Gina Dirawi and Danny Saucedo
Half of all Swedes watch Melodifestivalen, the Swedish competition to find a contestant to go on to Eurovision. Four point one million watched last year`s final. This year, the two celebrities chosen are the youngest ever, aged just 26 and 21. They are Gina Dirawi, who was also one of the team last year, and Danny Saucedo, who before now was best known for his dance routines, as a contestant himself, in past years. Reporter: Loukas Christodoulou.
Gina Dirawi and Danny Saucedo will present next year's Swedish Song Contest, Melodifestivalen.
The TV show is Sweden's most popular, with almost half the country watching as Sweden picks its song for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Gina Dirawi was one of the presenters last year, and started her TV career by posting video clips on the internet before she got her own programme on SVT, Swedish Televsion.
Danny Saucedo got his breakthrough as a singer in the Swedish Idol TV show; he has performed both as a solo artist - coming second in the last two Melodifestival finals - and also as a member of the group EMD. This is one of his first jobs as a TV presenter.
As usual, there will be four qualification rounds in Melodifestivalen next year, culminating in the grand final in the newly built Friends Arena stadium just outside of Stockholm.
Sweden will also be hosting the Eurovision final this year, but who will be presenting that extravaganza is as yet a mystery.
