Anti-mining protesters met in Stockholm

Several hundred demonstrators from across Sweden gathered in Stockholm Saturday to protest against mining legislation that they say lets foreign companies exploit Swedish natural resources for a quick buck.

The demonstrators, most of whom are involved in protests against specific mines and quarries around the country, met up and shared experiences before holding a demonstration in central Stockholm, news agency TT reports.
