Several hundred demonstrators from across Sweden gathered in Stockholm Saturday to protest against mining legislation that they say lets foreign companies exploit Swedish natural resources for a quick buck.

The demonstrators, most of whom are involved in protests against specific mines and quarries around the country, met up and shared experiences before holding a demonstration in central Stockholm, news agency TT reports.
