Sweden won the Men's Floorball World Championships for the first time in six years in Zurich on Sunday.

Sweden defeated Finland, who had won gold in 2008 and 2010, by 11-5 in the finals. Sweden had gotten off to a good start when Kim Nilsson scored the first point just 58 seconds into the game, and the team continued by scoring eight more points before Finland managed to score its first, according to news agency TT.
