A YouGov poll ordered by the Swedish Nature Protection Federation suggests that many Swedes are against wolf culling. A total of 1,009 people from across Sweden were interviewed for the survey.

The survey posed the question: “According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish wolf strain today consists of 260 to 330 individuas. Do you think the wolf strain should be reduced through hunting?”

Fifty-nine percent answered no, 21 percent said yes.
