Christmas – no holiday for Sweden's burglars

Late December is no holiday season for Sweden's burglars. Over ten break-ins were reported in the southern region of Skåne during Tuesday night, while Kronoberg and Kalmar counties reported nine burglaries as Swedish Christmas celebrations were in full swing on Christmas Eve.

"Burglars see their chance when people are away from their homes on Christmas Eve," Jimmy Modin with the country police in Skåne tells Swedish Radio.
