Zlatan Sweden's most popular athlete – by far
Football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is more popular than ever in his home country. A survey published by tabloid Aftonbladet shows that 46 percent of the respondents prefer Zlatan to any other active Swedish athlete.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker has topped the list for the past four years, but this time around by a bigger margin than usual. "It feels good to have the people's vote. It means I have fantastic support at home," Zlatan told Aftonbladet.
His margin to cross-country skier Charlotte Kalla in second place is over 30 percentage points.
