SAS announces loss in interim report
Scandinavian Airlines, SAS, reports a 823 million kronor loss in its interim report. The company's CEO Rickard Gustafson said that “the result is in line with what we had expected. But it’s clear that I am not happy with a loss.”
In a statement, Gustafson said the company will focus on continuing to implement its previous action plan with the ambition to achieve a profit before tax for the full year.
The airline also reported that traffic has gone up by 4.3 percent and that passenger revenue is up by just over six percent.
