Tax Agency warns of fake emails
Fake emails claiming to come from the Swedish Tax Agency prompted some twenty people to report the problem to the Agency on Saturday.
The emails come in different guises, for example, one variant instructs the recipient to open an attachment for advice on filing taxes.
On the Agency's website Anders Kylesten, head of security, warns people who receive emails of this kind that they should neither click on the links, nor open the attachments, nor give their bank account information or credit card number.
The Agency says it will file a police report about the fake emails shortly.
