Burglars have struck at the exclusive home of Swedish international footballer Kim Källström. Tabloid Expressen reports that the star's wife and three-year-old daughter were asleep upstairs at their home in Gothenburg when the break-in took place on Monday night. It's believed that the keys to Källström's flat in Moscow were stolen. The Spartak Moscow midfielder is currently in Austria for Sweden's World Cup qualifier on Friday.

According to Expressen, police are working on the theory that the thieves believed Källström's family would be away in Stockholm during Sweden's game with Macedonia earlier this week and the house in Gothenburg would be empty for several days, allowing for the footballer's home in Moscow to be cleaned out in peace and quiet.
