Man Detained in Kidnapping of Swedish Executive

Police have detained a man suspected of helping kidnap Fabian Bengtsson, a managing director and heir to one of Scandinavia’s largest consumer electronics retail chains last month.

Police spokesman Mats Glansberg, said efforts to extradite the man back to Sweden are underway. The man was arrested in another European country after a warrant for his arrest was issued Tuesday.

Police are searching for a group of people suspected in the kidnapping of Bengtsson who was found safe and unharmed on February 4th in a park in Gothenburg.
