Fourth life claimed in Stockholm City Line work
Construction of the Stockholm City Line commuter rail has claimed a fourth victim. A construction worker who fell while working on a pumping station on Wednesday was injured so critically that he later died, reports news agency TT.
The police and the Swedish Work Environment Authority will investigate the accident, according to the online version of Byggnadarbetaren, the newspaper catering to construction workers.
Previously three people have died because of construction work on the line, one in 2011, one in 2010 and one in 2006.
