Sweden is aiming for a convincing win against World Cup minnows the Faroe Islands in a Group C qualifier at Friends Arena this evening. Last Friday's 2-1 defeat to Austria in Vienna has left Sweden three points behind second spot with tonight's game in hand and Erik Hamrén's team also needs to improve its goal difference.

Sweden's coach makes enforced changes to his starting line-up with Johan Elmander and goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson both suspended after picking up yellow cards in Vienna. Captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic knows that a booking for him this evening will rule him out of the crunch qualifier away to Ireland in September.

23-year-old Cagliari midfielder Albin Ekdal is tipped to make his fourth appearance for the national side.
