One of the founders of the Pirate Bay filesharing website, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, may be deported to Denmark to face prosecution for alleged cyber crimes.

Warg was convicted to one year in jail in 2009 for copyright offences but evaded Swedish authorities until he was arrested in Cambodia last year.

He is on trial again at Nacka district court for hacking the Swedish tax authority's population register and the court will also consider whether he should be deported to face hacking charges in neighbouring Denmark.

The court will deliver its sentence on Thursday. Any conviction or deportation decision can be appealed.
