Computer crash for Stockholm's healthcare
For the second time in a week, the computerized patient journal system at Stockholm’s hospitals and clinics has crashed.
The crash means longer waiting times for patients, since personnel cannot add new information to their journals.
According to the press section at Karolinska Hospital, in some cases they can read the online journals. New information has to be written up on paper.
It’s currently unknown how long the system will be down. A similar crash last Tuesday lasted six hours.
