Incidence of TBE continues to rise

Tick-Borne Encephalitis, or TBE, are on the rise here, with more than a doubling of cases over the past 10 years. A vaccine is available, but health authorities are concerned that not enough people are taking the jab.

Marika Hjertkvist, an epidemiologist from the Swedish Institute for Communicable Disease Control, outlines the symptoms of the disease, and the reluctance of many to take the vaccination. We also discuss what you can do to minimsie the risks of getting bitten by ticks.
