Supreme Court will not try serial killer case
The Swedish Supreme Court said Tuesday it will not try the case of convicted serial killer Peter Mangs.
Mangs was found guilty of two murders and eight attempted murders by the Court of Appeal earlier this year. His sentence of life in prison remains, reports Swedish Radio.
Peter Mangs was arrested in 2010 after Sweden's third largest city Malmö had been shaken by a series of shootings in 2009 and 2010 targeting people mainly of immigrant backgrounds at bus stops, gyms, in parkinglots and in their homes.
