Police on Sunday morning completed their search of the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm following Thursday's discovery of an explosive device outside the stadium.

While the police discovered nothing new, the investigation continues into who left the device which was the police say could have caused physical injury if it had detonated.

The explosive was found in a box outside the arena hours before a game was due to take place between two veteran sides from Stockholm club Djurgården, which was designed to test the match readiness of the stadium which will be shared by Djurgården and rival Stockholm club Hammarby.

At a security meeting on Friday, both clubs were warned that they would be evicted from the new arena if any similar such incidents occured.

Today Djurgården play their final match at Stadion, the old Olympic stadium which has been their home for many years.
