Travel websites slammed by Consumer Agency

Published onsdag 17 juli 2013 kl 19.38

Travel websites fail to present correct information to customers, according to an investigation by the Swedish Consumer Agency cited by newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. Trips often look cheaper than they turn out to be and passengers are not informed of extra costs such as baggage charges. Three of the ten sites surveyed by the agency charge customers a 99 SEK administration fee for paying by card, which is illegal.
