Elfsborg thrash Latvia's Daugava in Champions League qualifier
Swedish football side IF Elfsborg thrashed Latvian champions FC Daugava 7-1 in the first leg of their Champions League qualification tie. Midfielder Marcus Rohdén scored two goals for the Swedish champions, with strikers Lasse Nilsson and Mohamed Bangura among the other scorers.
Wednesday's game was the second of three rounds of qualification games for the Champions League group stages. The second leg will be played in Latvia on Tuesday, 23 July.
