A man and a woman were arrested Thursday near the Stockholm Skavsta Airport on suspicion of human trafficking. They were travelling in a car with another man when police stopped them at around 5 PM.

"The third person who was in the car is the one we believe the other two have smuggled," police officer Dennis Ejdvinsson told news agency TT.

The third man was also arrested. He is suspected of using forged documents.

Skavsta is an international airport located around 100 kilometres southwest of Stockholm.
