In yet another “leak” from the upcoming budget, IT Minister Anna-Karin Hatt says the government will spend SEK 38 million next year to set up a single web portal or mailbox to access services.

Called “The Digital Ladder” the project would stretch out over several years with the goal of making it easier for citizens and companies to make contact with public agencies, such as the Companies Registration Office and the tax and pension authorities.

However, it’s uncertain when the final product, to be called “My Messages” will be in operation. This, she says, depends on the how fast the agencies can move, and the development of a secure log-in system.
